Best accountability hack

Cheaper than a personal trainer and way harder to ignore.

People at the gym with the GYMPULSED logo

You and a partner create a gym challenge with a weekly workout target and a financial commitment. You check in when you train. When the challenge ends, the outcome follows what each of you actually did: completed sessions versus missed ones. It is accountability tied to action, not luck.

Check-ins are verified so only real gym visits count toward your challenge. On iOS this uses location-based validation at your chosen gym; details are shown in the app before you confirm a challenge.

Each person's deposit is held securely until the challenge is settled. After the challenge period, transfers are based on who completed their sessions and who missed them, which is the outcome your challenge defines. GYMPULSED does not keep that money as profit.

Yes. When you create a challenge, you and your partner agree on the amount linked to each missed session (for example, €5 or €10). You set the level of accountability that works for both of you before anything is authorized.

Anyone you invite who joins GYMPULSED. Once they accept your partner link, you can create a challenge together and agree on schedule, goals, and commitment.

If you both meet your targets, no transfer is due and each person keeps their deposit. If you both miss sessions, settlement follows the rules shown before you confirm the challenge (for example, a tie with no payout). Outcomes always come from check-in records, not random draws.

If settlement shows you completed your side and your partner did not, you may receive a transfer according to your challenge terms. Payouts are processed by Stripe to the bank account you connect in the app.

Yes. Commitments and payouts are handled by Stripe, the industry-standard payment infrastructure. Your card and bank details are only used to authorize deposits and process settlement, never for unrelated charges.

Check-ins are recorded and verified to keep outcomes objective. If something looks wrong, the app relies on that verification data for settlement. Contact support for exceptional cases, as described in the app.
